Francis Akwafo Lauds The Impact Of Johnson Smith

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Francis Akwafo, has heaped praises on coach Johnson Smith for his impact on the Kotoko team.

The Ghanaian giants have seen an astronomical rise under the tutelage of Johnson Smith after the club relieved Maxwell Konadu from his position as the head coach.

The experienced gaffer has managed five wins out of nine games with three ending in a draw and just only a defeat.

Commenting on the influence of Johnson Smith at the helm of affairs of Asante Kotoko on Opemsuo 104.7 FM evening sports show, Pramaso, Francis Akwafo praised his former trainer.

“Johnson Smith has done well after Maxwell Konadu was axed from his role as the head coach. It looks as though he knows how to manage the boys, and they are also giving their best to him”

“Johnson Smith is a type of coach who loves skillful players. I am not surprised Fabio Gama is flourishing under his watch because it happened to me during my playing,” he concluded.

Johnson Smith has received plaudits from the vociferous supporters of Asante Kotoko following his historic and breathtaking win over Karela United in the Ghana Premier League.
