Mahama to Deliver Ghana’s Statement at UN General Assembly on Thursday

President John Dramani Mahama will deliver Ghana’s official statement during the main General Debate of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

This was communicated by the Presidency.

He will also host a Town Hall meeting with the Ghanaian community on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The President left Accra on Friday night via KLM Royal Airlines for New York for the UNGA.

The programme is taking place under the theme: “Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations that Delivers for All.”
