KOTOKO: Chairman apologies to OTUMFUO and Board Members
Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Regional Circles Chairman for Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions, Kennedy Enyan has rendered unqualified apology to the Club’s owner, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and all Board members of the fabulous team after passing comments deemed unsavory on the new appointment of the Board.
“I retract and apologize to everyone especially our King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Kokoto Board and all fans of Kotoko for my comment”, the outspoken Chairman said on one of the official mouthpieces of the Club, Manhyia-based Opemsuo FM in Kumasi.
Kennedy Enyan took swipe at attacking the new management after reverered King has constituted a new Board chaired by businessmanDr. Kwame Kyei, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unit Group of Companies among others eight to steer affairs of the Club.
According to Kennedy Enyan, who spoke to journalists while commenting on the new development, “it is unfortunate that non of the supporter of the club is part of the new management”, comment highly disrespectful to the King and the Board in entirety
