The two Heads of State will hold a tête-à-tête meeting, which will be followed by official bilateral talks at the Jubilee House in Accra on July 28, 2026.

During the talks, President Mahama and President Oligui Nguema will review the current state of bilateral relations and identify new areas of cooperation beyond existing partnerships.

Key areas expected to feature in the discussions include political and diplomatic consultations, trade and investment, mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, maritime affairs, transport, tourism, education, health, defence and security cooperation, environmental protection, climate action and people-to-people exchanges.
