NSA Gives Final Window For Students With Biodata Mismatch To Rectify Records

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final opportunity for prospective National Service Personnel affected by biodata mismatches to rectify their records ahead of the registration deadline.

In a press release dated August 24, 2026, the Authority said all prospective personnel who are still affected by biodata mismatches and have been unable to rectify their issues are to report to the NSA Headquarters before the deadline of August 26, 2026, for assistance and final resolution.

The Authority, in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths, will facilitate the necessary processes to enable affected students to resolve their issues and complete their registration within the stipulated period.

According to the release, affected students will be guided through the process of obtaining the required affidavit through a Commissioner for Oaths, who will assist in preparing and swearing the affidavit to support the correction of their biodata.

Students who require a Gazette publication will be guided through the process for the required publication, while students who have already obtained their affidavit and/or Gazette publication are also required to report to the NSA Headquarters with the original documents and any other relevant supporting documents to enable the necessary changes to be effected.

Once the necessary corrections have been effected and the student’s records duly aligned, the affected student will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process.

The NSA therefore urged all students who are yet to resolve their biodata mismatch issues, as well as those who have already completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report before the deadline without delay.

Students are encouraged to come along with all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Card and, where applicable, their affidavit and Gazette, to facilitate the process.

The Authority said the intervention is intended to provide a final opportunity for affected students to regularise their records and complete their registration before the deadline.
