Attorney-General to Brief Media on Govt’s Position on Constitution Review Report

The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Dr Dominic Ayine, will on Thursday, July 30, 2026, hold a briefing to present the Government’s Position Paper on the report of the Constitution Review Committee.
The announcement was made in a Facebook post by Government Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP.
According to the post, the briefing will take place at 1:00 pm.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu said the full report of the Constitution Review Committee and the Government’s Position Paper will be published shortly after the briefing.
The Constitution Review Committee was set up to assess the 1992 Constitution and make recommendations for reforms to strengthen Ghana’s democracy, governance, and human rights framework.
The release of the Government Position Paper is expected to outline the executive’s stance on the Committee’s recommendations and the next steps for possible constitutional amendments.
