Passport Application Portal Restored After Technical Glitch

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that its passport application portal is back up and running after a temporary technical disruption.

In a public announcement dated Monday, August 25, 2026, the Ministry said its website, passport.mfa.gov.gh, which had experienced technical issues, has now been restored.

According to the statement, the Ministry’s technical team and the National Signals Bureau have resolved the issues affecting the portal.

The Ministry further informed applicants that they can now log into the site, passport.mfa.gov.gh, to access passport services.

The Ministry expressed appreciation to the public for their patience and understanding during the period of the outage.
