Sanitation conditions at Kejetia and Dr. Mensah in the Ashanti Region haven’t been the best as the environment is full of Dirt.
Traders are hawkers on the other hand are having their economic activities irrespective of the condition at the place.
In an interview on opemsuo radio’s Morning show Nkwantananso on Friday, September 24, 2021, traders shared their plight in living in such an unhygienic environment.
“We have been sacked from our former place of work and we have no other place to work, selling at this place is the only option,” a trader said.
“The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly collects a daily market toll so we expect them to clean this place”, she added.
The traders are pleading with the authorities to help get them a better place for work as their current place is a threat to the health.
