Otumfuo- Mobile Dental Outreach Continues……

The Otumfuo-Smiles Mobile Dental Outreach continues to impact lives and improve the health status of students in rural communities. As the mobile van keeps moving, the next stop is Anwia Nkwanta SDA Basic School on 25th February 2022.

Early this year, the Mobile Dental Team started the community outreach sparkled with their first stop at Mampong L/A Basic, Nsuta R/C Basic, and Bekwai D/A Basic schools in Ashanti Region.

The Otumfuo-Smiles Mobile Dental Outreach seeks to close the gap between rural and urban health among pupils by offering free Dental Screening, Oral Hygiene Education, Scaling, Polishing, and Tooth Extraction.

The Otumfuo- Smiles Mobile Dental Outreach is a subsidiary of the Health Sector under the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation that seeks to provide equal health opportunities to support children from pre-school age through to adolescence without mobility and proximity disadvantage.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation which works under five broad thematic areas which are Education, Health, Water & Sanitation, Culture & Heritage, and Entrepreneurship in line with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), GPRS II, and NEPAD goals respectively is bent on Harnessing The Power Of Innovation To Accelerate Development And Transformation In Africa.
