Foreign Affairs Ministry Calls For Articles For Special Edition Of Ghanaian Envoy On Reparatory Justice Agenda

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a call for articles for a Special Edition of The Ghanaian Envoy, the Ministry’s official newsletter, dedicated to Ghana’s Reparatory Justice Agenda.

In a press release dated August 24, 2026, the Ministry said the Special Edition will chronicle Ghana’s journey, advocacy and efforts in advancing the Reparatory Justice Agenda, highlighting key milestones, initiatives, engagements and perspectives on the country’s continued efforts to promote justice, recognition and appropriate redress for the historical injustices associated with the transatlantic slave trade and colonialism.

The Ministry is inviting articles, opinion pieces, essays and other relevant contributions from members of the public, academics, researchers, practitioners, civil society organisations, historians and other interested stakeholders.

According to the release, contributions must be brief and concise and may draw on perspectives, experiences, observations, research and insights relating to Ghana’s Reparatory Justice Agenda, including its historical context, advocacy efforts, international engagements, achievements, challenges and the way forward.

Interested contributors are to submit their articles to the Information and Public Affairs Bureau of the Ministry via ipab@mfa.gov.gh for consideration and possible publication.

Authors are also requested to submit a recent, passport-size coloured photograph in high-resolution JPEG or PNG format along with their articles for inclusion in the publication.

Contributors are encouraged to submit original and unpublished articles that are clear, well-researched, and relevant to the publication.

The deadline for submission is September 2, 2026.
