Kotoko Management Rules Emmanuel Gyamfi Out Of Bechem Match

Asante Kotoko Management has ruled out highfaluting winger Emmanuel Gyamfi from their league game against Bechem United in spite of a reply from Ghana Football Association indicating the player is eligible for the game.
The Porcupine Warriors will play as guest to Bechem United in the match day 32, but they will go into the epic game without key man Emmanuel Gyamfi who is in the form of his life due to a ban.
Kotoko’s Acting Communications Manager, David Obeng Nyarko, had earlier confirmed on his Facebook wall that the player is eligible for the game following a reply from the Football Governing body.
“The GFA has replied our earlier email requesting for clarification on the ban of our Head Coach Mariano Barreto and our deputy captain Emmanuel Gyamfi.”
“The ban includes both FA cup and league matches and as such Emmanuel Gyamfi is eligible to play our next game once his fine is paid.”
But according to grapevine source, the Management members have decided not to let the player honour Sunday’s game due to lack of trust in the current GFA Leadership.
The source further revealed that if Gyamfi honours the game, Kotoko will forfeit some points since the GFA is bent on causing more harm to the Nana Yaw Amponsah’s led Management.
Gyamfi’s performance in the last five matches in all competitions has skyrocketed to the crescendo. The swift winger has scored three goals in the last four games.
