I’m more Resourceful to Compete NPP, Says NDC Parliamentary Aspirant

The parliamentary candidate hopeful on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Bosomtwe Constituency, Mr Ibrahim Asante Boadu has stated that he has the resources to compete whoever the New Patriotic Party (NPP), elects as their candidate for the 2024 general election.

“Though the constituency is undoubtedly one of the strongholds of the NPP, I believe that the resources at my disposal will help me to win the Parliamentary seat for the NDC”, he said.

He made these statements at Aputuogya, where he presented five out of the thirty-nine motor bikes he had promised to give to the ward coordinators of the constituency.

He promised to present the remaining thirty-four of the bikes to the other coordinators before the end of the year.

He felt the need to donate these motorbikes, because of the poor condition of many roads that lead to smaller towns in the constituency. The aim is to facilitate mobility during the upcoming elections.

“This is not the only way I am helping the party to win the seat. I intend to donate mobile phones to the one hundred and ninety-one polling stations which will be used for data collection during the 2024 elections,” he said.

He explained that, ten mobile phones have already been distributed and the rest will be given out before the end of the year.

Speaking to Opemsuo News Reporter, Johnson Owusu Aduomi , Mr. Justice Agambah Patrick, the Constituency Secretary, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Boadu for his benevolent intentions towards the party.

He additionally appealed to the delegates to support the candidate’s vision for the party to facilitate progress.
