3 Remaining Games are Must-win- Coach Ouatarra

The remaining games ahead of Accra Hearts of Oak hold their fate in the Ghana Premier League (GPL): whether they will be relegated or survive relegation, the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara has indicated.

He observes that it would be make-or-break for the team who are currently two points away from relegation.

As such, he believes all it takes must be done to salvage the needed points to climb to safety in the remaining games.

Speaking to the press after their defeat to Asante Kotoko Sporting Club at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, Coach Ouattara said he would have a sober engagement with his boys about their poor performance.

“In the three remaining games, we need the points. We don’t have any choice. To get the points, we must score, and to score, we need to play simple football.”

The coach also disclosed the whole team is under pressure to put up a good performance for the needed results from management and fans.

“I’m not personally under pressure; the whole team is under pressure. We need points, and it’s a collective responsibility,” he stated.

The Phobians are 15th on the log with 38 points after 31 games through which they have managed just 9 wins, 11 losses and 11 draws.

They will this Friday host Nations FC and then Great Olympics on June 7 before their last game against Bechem United on June 15.
