Ogum Seeks to End Season on Good Note

The head coach of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced his desire to end the season on an appropriate note after experiencing not-so-good spell in the running season.

After 31 games, the Porcupines hold 43 points. They have lost and won 12 games each with seven draws.

The gaffer seeks to leverage on their emphatic win against rivals Hearts of Oak to end the season on a better note.

This, he said, would put Kotoko on a favourable spot on the league table by the end of the season.

“{I want to end the season} on a good note as this. There is no motivation than this, beating Hearts of Oak of all teams. It’s enough motivation for the players to know that the three that they need to work harder than they have worked today so that we position ourselves very well on the league log.”

Kokoto lorded over Hearts in a 2-0 victory at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on May 26, mounting a step up on the league log.

They will next face Great Olympics on Sunday, June 2 then clash with Real Tamale United (RTU) a week later before they take on Bofoakwa Tano on June 15.
