This Is Why Over 8, 000 WASSCE Candidates Can’t Access Results Online

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released results for the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The council said candidates can view their results on the website of the WAEC.

However, it noted that the 8,486 of them won’t be able to access their results online.

Some of the earmarked candidates are said to have failed to return learning support materials after the exam.

Others reportedly destroyed school properties during or after the examination.

They can only access their results in their various schools.

“The results of 8,486 candidates who failed to return learning support materials supplied to them and/or destroyed school property cannot be accessed online at the Council’s website. The affected candidates are advised to visit their schools for their results.”

Meanwhile, the subject results of 3,845 candidates and the entire Results of 518 candidates have been cancelled for various examination malpractices.

On the other hand, the Entire Results of 117 candidates and the scripts of candidates from 179 schools in certain subjects have been withheld.
