GES Interdicts Bole SHS Teacher Over Alleged Sexual Misconduct

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted a teacher at the Bole Senior High School in the Savannah Region following the circulation of a disturbing social media video depicting alleged sexual misconduct with a student.
The immediate suspension, which aligns with standard institutional regulations, comes as management launches a full-scale investigation into the incident.
The education regulatory body strongly condemned the development, reemphasising its strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of amorous relationships between staff and students.
In a public statement, management cautioned all education workers across the country to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and conduct at all times.
The service assured the public that the matter is being treated with the utmost seriousness, noting that appropriate disciplinary and legal actions will be taken against anyone found culpable.
Management also reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety, protection, and overall well-being of all students within the national educational system, promising further updates as the investigations progress.
