Asante Kotoko Transfer Captain Richard Boadu To Al Ahly Bengarzi

Porcupine Warriors, Asante Kotoko has reached an agreement with Libyan side Al Ahly SC for the transfer of midfielder and Club Captain, Richard Boadu, on a permanent deal subject to medicals.

The skipper, whose football career began with Kotoko’s youth side, rejoined the club in September 2021, playing an integral role in the club’s Premier League triumph in the 2021/2022 season.

Boadu was named Club captain at the start of the 2022–2023 season, having shown resilience, commitment, and stellar performances in his debut season with the club.

The skipper leaves with the record number of tackles in the team and most duels won, scoring two goals with five assists and eight man of the match awards in his last season with the Club.

Boadu joined Asante Kotoko from Medeama SC and won one League trophy.
