2025 Unity Cup: Salisu, Gyan and Sulemana Absent
Three called-up Black Stars players have failed to report to camp for the 2025 Unity Cup.
They were among 23 players who were handed call-ups by head coach Otto Addo earlier this week.
In a statement, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) communicated the absence of Felix Afena Gyan, Ibrahim Sulemana, and Mohammed Salisu.
“The Ghana Football Association wishes to inform the public that Felix Afena Gyan, Ibrahim Sulemana, and Mohammed Salisu are currently unavailable for the Black Stars’ Unity Cup match against Nigeria.”
It explained that Afena Gyan and Ibrahim Sulemana were facing visa issues and had yet to arrive in London, while Mohammed Salisu was absent due to personal reasons.
The Association is hoping all the outstanding hindrances will be over for their arrival for the next match on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
