See List of Paramount Chiefs on Asanteman Standing Committee

The Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has reconstituted a 15-member Standing Committee of the Asanteman Council to help safeguard Asante tradition, spearhead development, and maintain order across traditional areas.

The list was officially made public on Monday, October 19, 2026, during a council sitting at the Manhyia Palace.

Chaired by the Asante Mamponghene, Daasebre Osei Bonsu, the committee comprises two representative paramount chiefs, one from each of key jurisdictions, alongside two official linguists (Akyeame) of the Asantehene.
