We Should Have Scored Five Against Kotoko- Accra Lions Coach

The Head coach of Accra Lions, Rainer Kraft, believes his boys should have performed better by registering more goals in their 0-3 victory against Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.
According to him, they could have registered at least five goals had they been “clinical”.
In a post-match press conference on April 16, he stated “We scored three goals out of transition.”
He boasted of his team’s familiarity with the Porcupines.
“We should have scored four or five goals if we were a bit clinical. We are known to be a high-pressing team but also know how to play against Asante Kotoko.”
Meanwhile, Kotoko’s head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, blamed the tactics for the defeat.
“We let loose our guard anytime we went on the attack. Basically, we participated in an attack when somewhere along the line we had to also anticipate defending.”
“We threw more men out there to try and create the chances to score and we left back holes which led to those two first-half goals.”
He also cited fatigue for the abysmal performance.
“It may be they (Kotoko players) are fatigued somehow, but then we are managing them well physiologically and psychologically; we are managing them very well. It is all about focus in games like this, so it may be, but before the game, we looked very energetic and very confident, knowing very well we were going to play very well and then get the maximum points, but then the dynamics changed.”
