Scholarships Secretariat Announces Opening of Applications for Moroccan Government Scholarships 2026/2027

The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat has announced the opening of applications for the Kingdom of Morocco Government Scholarship Awards for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In a statement issued on 26th May 2026, the Secretariat said qualified Ghanaian citizens resident in Ghana can apply for undergraduate, vocational and technical programmes tenable in Morocco.

The scholarships cover a range of fields including Health, Engineering, Agriculture, General Sciences, Social Sciences, and Vocational/Technical Training.

For undergraduate applicants, eligibility requires completion of Senior High School with the most recent 2024 or 2025 WASSCE certificates.

Candidates seeking to study Medicine and Pharmacy must have an aggregate of six or seven, while other programmes require a minimum aggregate of fifteen.

Applicants must also be aged 23 years or below and possess a genuine birth certificate.

All successful candidates will undergo a one-year French language training programme in Morocco before commencing their main course of study.

The vocational and technical training options are designed to equip applicants with technical, employment and entrepreneurial skills relevant to their chosen trade.

Interested applicants are to apply through the Scholarships Secretariat’s online portal at apply.scholarships.gov.gh.

The process involves creating an account, logging into the dashboard, selecting the Morocco scholarship opportunity under “Opportunities,” and submitting the completed application with required documents.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, June 7, 2026.

The Secretariat emphasized that its services are free and cautioned applicants against dealing with any individual, group or third party claiming to assist with the process.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview.
