Police Officer Interdicted For Allegedly Smoking Narcotics

The Ghana Police Service has interdicted police officer who was captured in uniform smoking a substance suspected to be a narcotic drug.

The police service has identified him as No. 42681 G/Sgt Isaac Nii Sowah.

He is stationed at the Accra Regional Police Command.

“Investigation is ongoing and the Sergeant will be taken through the necessary disciplinary and legal action”, the police assured in a press statement.

Additionally, he would be given the necessary psycho-social support in line with the new strategic police welfare policy, the Ghana Police Service said.
