Stop Creating Content Out of Issues and Help Make Kumasi A Better Place- KMA Boss

The Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Richard Ofori Agyeman, popularly known as King Zuba, has encouraged residents within the metropolis to avoid sensationalising issues for personal gain.
According to him, genuine concerns must be shown in such troubling instances for a concerned effort in dealing with them.
This follows a viral video showing cattle grazing around the Kumasi Airport Roundabout.
“It’s not enough to see one instance of cattle at the airport and make a whole fuss about it. Let us all build the Kumasi together. It cannot take the Chief Executive Officer to be at every corner at the same time, so if you identify a problem, instead of making noise about it, using it to create content to get money, let’s do it together.”
In a self-captured video posted on the KMA official handle on Thursday, King Zuba had visited the venue.
He reported that there were no cattle present.
“I have come here to see to evacuating animals here. I have been here for about 30 minutes and there is no cattle.”
Encouraging the public to join in the public advocacy, he said, “The animals will not be stationed here, so the chief executive cannot leave whatever work there and come and stand here for 24 hours to wait for cattle that will come here. When the patrol team comes around and doesn’t find anything, they will also go back to other areas to do the work they are mandated to do.”
He recommended that concerned residents who encounter such situations should confiscate the animals and deliver them to the KMA office.
“My plea is that when you get here and see animals, be a responsible and good citizen, arrest the animal, bring it to KMA so that together we can build the kind of Kumasi we want.”
