Constitution Review Committee to Visit 10 Regions For Public Views

The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) will be embarking on a nationwide engagement to solicit public views, inputs, and proposals for a review of the 1992 Constitution.
A statement by the Committee outlined the dates and city for the consultations, adding that the exact venues and time will be communicated in due course.
“The Constitution Review Committee (CRC), under the directive of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama is pleased to inform the general public that it will embark on a nationwide series of Zonal Public Engagements.”
It encouraged all citizens, community leaders, civil society organisations, traditional authorities, youth groups, and other stakeholders to participate actively in the forthcoming engagements.
The engagement will begin in Bolgatanga from June 16 to 17 and then continue in Tamale from June 18 to 19; Wa from June 23 to 24; Koforidua from July 3 to 4; and Ho from July 7 to 8;
It will proceed to Accra from July 10 to 11; Cape Coast from July 15 to 16; Takoradi from July 17 to 18; Sunyani from July 24 to 25; and Kumasi from July 28 to 29.
