NASPA President: NSS Will Release February Allowance Today

National President of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), Emmanuel Brimpong Akosah has assured members that the management of the National Service Scheme will pay February allowance today, April 6.

“Upon deliberations with the Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS), we can confirm that payment of an allowance for the month of February will be made by close of 6th April 2022.

He, therefore, urged personnel to stay calm.

“We would like to commend the members for their patience and again urge them to remain calm while the National Leadership further engages the management of the scheme to settle personnel with existing arrears”.

NSS owes personnel two months of arrears including February and March.

While paying the January allowance on March 23, the management of the NSS asserted that “steps are far advanced to clear the February 2022 arrears in the shorter possible time”.
