MTN FA Cup Round Of 16 Clashes Set for Mid-Feb

February 18 and 19 have been slated for 16 clubs in all tiers in Ghana to compete for survival in the MTN FA Cup.

The first set of fixtures will feature three games with the next day witnessing five more.

Top-flight club Bofoakwa United FC will on February 17 face off with Division Two side Wa Power FC at the Sunyani Coronations Park while Akwaboso Young Madrid will take on Bechem United on the same day at the Len Clay Park.

Giant dismantling Division One club FC Nania’s game against Legon Cities FC will also take place on February 17 in Dawu.

The fixtures for the last eight will continue the next day at the Nana Konamansa Park between Nsoatreman FC and Berekum Chelsea.

Sizzling at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on February 18 will be a clash between Kumasi-based Asante Kotoko SC and Aiyinase-based Karela United while a confrontation between defending Champions Dreams FC and Koforidua Semper FI is scheduled to be hosted at Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

In other matches on Saturday, Skyy FC and Hohoe United will respectively lock horns with Elmina Sharks and Soccer Intellectuals FC.

Clubs who advance past this round will compete in the quarter-finals.
