Kotoko Whitelists Asempa FM
Asante Kotoko SC has whitelisted Asempa FM, granting it access to cover all organized activities of the club.
It will be recalled that on March 3, 2025, Kotoko banned the media organization after its displeasure at how the death of supporter Francis Yaw Frimpong (Pooley) was handled during a sports programme.
In a statement on June 12, 2025, Kotoko said constructive engagements with the management of Multimedia Group had informed its decision to lift the ban.
“Through recent discussions, Multimedia Group acknowledged these concerns and the parties have amicably resolved their issues and have agreed to work together for the best interest of Ghana football.
“In light of this, the club considers the issue addressed and the ban lifted, effective immediately.”
