Funds Released For Payment of Temporary EC Staff

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced the release of funds for the payment of temporary staff after months of agitation.

In a letter to the affected staff, the EC said the funds were released by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

“We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Finance has today, Thursday, 12th of June, 2025 released funds for the payment of Temporary Staff.”

The Commission furthered that it was working round the clock to ensure that payments were made promptly.

“Temporary Staff should expect to receive their allowances on or before Friday, 20th June, 2025.”
