Spokesman for Premier League side Kumasi King Faisal, Awal Mohammed has denied that the Kumasi-based club is on the verge of selling their leading striker Kwame Peprah.
Reports in the local media is that highfaluting Kwame Peprah is on the verge of leaving Alhaji Grusah’s team after producing some phenomenal performances.
But according to Awal Mohammed who speaks for the club, there is no official offer for the striker.
“We have also heard that a lot of clubs are after our striker Kwame Peprah, but the truth is, we are yet to receive any official offer for the player,” said Awal Mohammed on Opemsuo evening Sports show,Pramaso.
When quizzed whether King Faisal will escape relegation, he answered in acclamation that King Faisal will definitely escape relegation.
“King Faisal will escape relegation despite our challenges! The unimaginable comeback against King Faisal tells how we revved up to survive. We will survive.” He added.
Kumasi King Faisa after matchday twelve is on the 16th position with 10 points.
