A/R: Asantehene Meets Two Chiefs Appointed To Regional Lands Commission Board

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has met the two traditional leaders appointed to serve on the reconstituted Ashanti Regional Lands Commission Board.

The respected leaders are Baffour Owusu Bediako, Domeabrahene and Daasebre Kofi Asante Mensah, Sabronumhene.

Whereas Baffour will be serving as the Chairman of the Board, Daasebre is representing the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs on the Board.

They received the Monarch’s blessing and wise counsel to guide them in their new roles.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene led a delegation to officially inform the Asantehene about the appointments on July 2, 2025, the same day the new Board was inaugurated.

Among the delegation were the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana; the Executive Secretary of the Regional Lands Commission, Prof Owusu Ansah; and the Lands Officer of the Regional Lands Commission, Mr Peter Osei Owusu.
