GES Begins Review of Teacher Recruitment Applications
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has commenced the review of applications for its ongoing teacher recruitment exercise, with successful applicants expected to assume duty on August 31, 2026.
In a statement, GES Management thanked all applicants for their interest in serving through the Service.
The Service said it is currently reviewing all submissions to confirm they meet the eligibility requirements set out in the recruitment advertisement.
According to GES, the review of applications will be completed by June 30, 2026. The list of shortlisted candidates will then be announced by July 20, 2026.
From July 20 to August 31, 2026, the Service will conduct onboarding for successful applicants at the regional and district levels.
The GES expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by applicants throughout the process and wished everyone the best.
The exercise forms part of efforts to address staffing needs in basic and second cycle schools across the country.
