GES Begins Onboarding of Newly Recruited Teachers From Friday

The Ghana Education Service (GES) will begin the onboarding process for successful applicants in the just-ended teacher recruitment exercise from this Friday through to the end of the month.

According to Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, the successful applicants are expected to report to their respective regional offices of posting to commence the process.

In a Facebook post, Mr Fenyi noted that some applicants may have to travel long distances from their homes to the regional offices.

To help reduce the stress and ensure a smoother process, he advised applicants to first contact their regional offices by phone to confirm details before travelling.

“The contact of each regional office is shared in the comment section. Kindly save that of your region; you might need it,” he stated.

Mr Fenyi further assured the newly recruited teachers of continuous support from his outfit and the GES PR Unit throughout the entire process until they receive their first salary.

The onboarding is part of GES’ efforts to deploy newly recruited teachers to schools across the country ahead of the next academic term.
