Ghana Scholarships Authority Opens 2026/2027 Local Tertiary Scholarship Applications

The Ghana Scholarship Authority has opened applications for its Local Tertiary Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year, inviting qualified Ghanaian students who have secured admission to apply.

In a public notice, the Authority urged eligible students admitted into recognised tertiary institutions across the country to submit applications through its portal at www.apply.scholarships.gov.gh with the required documents.

The portal opened immediately and will remain accessible until May 20, 2026.

Applicants are expected to upload relevant academic and admission documents during the process.

The Authority said the scholarship is aimed at supporting Ghanaian students in tertiary institutions to reduce the financial burden of higher education.

Interested students have been advised to apply early and ensure all information provided is accurate to avoid disqualification.
