Amoakohene Announces Commencement of Abuakwa-Tabre Road Dualisation Project
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has announced the commencement of preparatory works for the dualization of the Abuakwa-Tabre Road.
The expansion project follows the successful conclusion of construction works on the Abuakwa section of the Kumasi-Sunyani Road.
The contractor, in collaboration with the affected Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs), will soon begin removing structures located within the right-of-way along the project corridor.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the Minister requested the public’s cooperation and understanding as the critical demolition and clearing phase gets underway.
The strategic infrastructure project is being undertaken to significantly improve mobility, enhance safety, and boost economic activity in the area.
