World Cup: Ghana High Commission Opens Ticket Request for Canada-Based Ghanaians

The Ghana High Commission in Canada is collecting details of Ghanaian fans who want to attend the Black Stars’ World Cup opener against Panama but do not have access to tickets.
The Commission said the Ministry of Sports and Recreation has directed it to compile data of interested compatriots for further action by the Ministry.
The move is aimed at helping Ghanaians in Canada secure access to the match scheduled for Toronto.
According to the notice, interested individuals are to submit their full name and email address to ottawa@mfa.gov.gh by June 10, 2026.
The High Commission emphasised that the information will be forwarded to Ghana’s Ministry of Sports and Recreation for processing.
The Ghana vs Panama fixture will take place in Toronto on June 17, 2026.
Officials expect a strong turnout from the Ghanaian community in Canada for the Toronto encounter.
The High Commission thanked compatriots for their cooperation and urged them to meet the June 10 deadline for submissions.
Canada will co-host the World Cup with Mexico and the United States from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
