We Won’t Tolerate Acts of Lawlessness and Indiscipline in Schools- Dep Education Minister

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Clement Apaak, says the Ministry will not tolerate acts of lawlessness and indiscipline in schools following a viral video showing a student assaulting a colleague.

Dr Apaak said the video has come to the attention of the Ministry, and he has since forwarded it to the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) for immediate action.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister for Education, he assured the public that the Ministry takes such incidents seriously.

“Indiscipline will be punished,” he stated, adding that the government remains committed to maintaining order and safety in all educational institutions.

The GES is expected to investigate the incident, identify the student involved, and apply appropriate sanctions in accordance with its code of conduct.
