“We Need to be Strong in Our Second Actions” – Didi Dramani Warns Ahead of Trip to Samreboi

Accra Hearts of Oak will be facing Samartex 1996 in Week 33 of the Ghana Premier League 2025/26 at Nsenkyire Arena.

The Phobia outfit faces Samartex 1996 at the Nsenkyire Arena for the fourth time since 2023, when the Timber Giants received their first qualification to the premier tournament.

Accra Hearts of Oak, despite their excellent away performances this season, will have to go the extra mile to add to their slew of away victories at the Nsenkyire Arena, as two defeats and a tie must be rewritten, as they have done at previous grounds this season.

Didi Dramani and his team are by far the best away side after sixteen league games; they have the most points, with 26, and the most wins per seven games won, and have settled at the top of the away league table.

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, a former Black Galaxies coach, spoke with Hearts TV about the issue that plagued them in their most recent league game against Aduana Stars, which finished in a goalless draw.

Dramani disclosed, “We were not clinical enough. I think we really got into that game with the objective of coming out with the best outcome. Because I think in the first half, we dominated the greater part of the game, and in the second half, we started so strongly. But I think we have learnt lessons from that moment.”

The Ghana Premier League Coach of the Year, 2013/14, gave insight into the team’s preparation ahead of their trip to the Western Region for the eighth all-time head-to-head meeting with the Timber Giants.

“We intensified our preparations in terms of really working on finishing third to turn some game challenges into outcomes. Samartex is one of the toughest opponents in our league. They are very compact and very aggressive; they are a ball-playing side, so we need to be strong in our second actions,” Didi exclaimed.
