I’ve Rejected 14 Offers Because I Want to Be In Ghana- Black Queens Coach
The head coach of the Black Queens, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, says he has rejected 14 offers since signing for Ghana in January 2025.
According to him, he prefers working for Ghana after recognising the potential of the team.
He intends to offer the needed support to the female senior national team to reach its peak.
“I can be completely honest; I had another 14 offers when I signed for Ghana, and I did that for a reason. I want to be here in Ghana because I think I can help the girls and make a little bit of a difference. Together, I think we are on the way to something really, really good, and we already showed that in the summer. So I’m here to stay with the girls.”
It comes after he led the team to book a ticket to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
