Okponglo Traffic Lights to Be Fixed Soon – Dumelo

The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo, says equipment and implements to fix the rammed Okponglo traffic lights control board have been ordered.

According to him, the tools will be ready next week for the repair work to begin.

This follows an engagement with the needed officials after a truck slammed into the control board of the Okponglo traffic lights some weeks ago causing the lights to go off.

In a Facebook post, he said, “I have since engaged the Urban Roads on several occasions as well as a briefing from the traffic light maintenance contractor. The parts needed to replace the faulty lights have been ordered and will arrive next week.”
“I will be updating my constituents as and when there’s progress on this particular issue. Please drive with caution. Thanks so much and let’s make Ayawaso West great again,” he added.
