Rocky Dawuni Grabs Third Grammy Nomination
Ghanaian Reggae artiste, Rocky Dawuni has clinched his third Grammy nomination at the 65th Grammy Awards.
The Grammys happens to be the most recognized music awards scheme in the world which honours creatives all over the world.
Rocky Dawuni is the only Ghanaian to be nominated for this edition with his song titled “Never Bow Down” which featured Blvk H3ro.
Rocky, stands the chance of winning the Best Global Music Performance category in a competition with Burna Boy, Nomcebo Zikob, Wouter Kellerman, Arooj Aftab, Anoushka Shankar, Matt B and Eddy Kenzo, and Zakes Bantwini.
He took to social media to express his honour for the nomination. “I am truly honoured to be nominated for another #Grammy award for my song “Never Bow Down” feat. @blvkh3ro”. He tweeted.
“This is a huge for Africa and the Caribbean coming together on this global roots anthem! Thank you to everyone who was part of this and congrats to my fellow nominees”, he added.
