AsanteheneAt76: Otumfuo’s Wisdom and Guidance Contributed to Government Success – Henry Kwabena Kokofu

Former Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has praised the Asantehene, describing his wisdom and leadership as extraordinary and instrumental to many successful interventions carried out during his time in government.

Speaking in an interview with Opemsuo Radio’s Kofi Boakye on Nkwantannanso, he said the blessings and wisdom possessed by the Asantehene could only be attributed to divine grace.

“If you look at the blessings and wisdom God has given to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, you will realise that it is not ordinary; it can only come from above,” he stated.

According to Hon. Kokofu, some individuals may attempt to undermine Asantehene out of envy or hatred but many people continue to admire and trust his leadership because of the impact he has made over the years.

“In many situations, some people may envy him or try to bring him down out of hatred, but those of us who believe in him know that whatever is happening around him is the doing of God,” he said.

Hon. Kokofu disclosed that during his period at the Environmental Protection Agency under the administration of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, several major developmental initiatives benefited from the guidance and support of the Asantehene.

He explained that whenever officials encountered difficult situations, they often sought advice and direction from Otumfuo.

“Most of the developmental work we carried out involved guidance and support from Otumfuo. Whenever issues became difficult or beyond us, we turned to him for advice and direction,” he noted.

Hon. Kokofu further expressed gratitude to the Asantehene for the support and wisdom he received throughout his service in government.

“I am grateful to Otumfuo for the guidance and wisdom with which I served in government, and through that, we achieved success,” he said.

He concluded by reaffirming his continued loyalty and support for the Asantehene, stating, “Long live Otumfuo. We will continue to serve and support you.”
