Otumfuo To Honour India’s Visit Invitation

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has assured the Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E Sugandh Rajaram of honouring their country’s visit invitation.

Otumfuo said the visit will be a platform for Ghana and India to share ideas and explore.

“I want to assure you that I still look forward to go to India and I know that it will inure to the benefits of both countries to share ideas together and explore. My intention is to look at small and medium enterprises, I’m looking at employment for the middle-level people and for us to be able to do that we need technical education and others.

“These are all issues that I look forward to be looking out for if I do travel there. I will also be interested in visiting some of the technical educational institutions also so that I know what collaboration can be done between us and also with the long-distance learning in connection with my university, these are some of the things I want us to be looking at”.

This came up during the Indian High Commissioner, H.E Sugandh Rajaram’s visit to the Manhyia Palace who gave the information that his country is in discussions in relation to His Royal Majesty’s visit and that his presence is to seek consent from him.
H.E Sugandh made some presentations to His Royal Majesty.
