Kokofuhemaa Introduces Bekwai MP to Asantehene

The Queen of Kokofu Traditional Council, Osagyefo Kissiwaa Mmua Baayie II, has formally introduced the Member of Parliament for Bekwai, to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.
Hon. Ralph Poku-Adusei, a lawyer with over 14 years’ experience at the bar, was voted into Parliament on the ticket of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He is a native of Kokofu in the Ashanti Region.
His introduction to the Monarch came on July 30, 2025, during the sixth Awukudae Festival celebration at the Manhyia Palace.
He was accompanied by a contingency representative of traditional authorities from about five paramountcies and some constituency party executives.
Introducing the first-time lawmaker, Nana Kokofuhemaa, sought the blessings of His Majesty to facilitate his responsibility to his constituents and Ghana at large.
Ralph was born on April 6, 1982 and is a former student of Opoku Ware Senior High School.
He holds a BA (Hons) Economics and LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDip) from the College of Law of England and Wales in the United Kingdom and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.
He also holds a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law, Notary Public from the Judicial Service of Ghana and Barrister At Law from the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
He previously worked as Managing Partner at Trent Legal (Amansie Chambers), Principal Associate at Zoe, Akyea & Co. Legal Practitioners.
He currently serves on the Sanitation and Water Resources Committee as the Deputy Ranking Member.
