Ghana to Host Africa Trade Summit 2025 Launch

The African Trade Chamber has strategically selected Ghana’s capital to host the inaugural Africa Trade Summit 2025 launch.
The event will take place on September 18, 2025, at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Conference Centre to formally unveil the Summit, scheduled for November.
The launch will be used to highlight the Chamber’s mission to drive private-sector-led growth and strengthen Africa’s role in global trade.
It is expected to draw industry leaders, government representatives, and trade institutions, including the Pharmaceutical Association of Manufacturers, Chamber of Bulk Oil Distribution, Association of Ghana Industries, AfCFTA Secretariat, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Free Zones Authority, Association of Ghana Banks, Ghana Chamber of Commerce, and other key organisations.
Speaking ahead of the launch, the African Trade Chamber underscored that the Summit will focus on building competitive value chains and expanding intra-African trade, with emphasis on seven critical sectors: manufacturing, mining, energy, agriculture, health, logistics, and infrastructure.
The launch will also present the Chamber’s vision as a continental hub for trade facilitation, where businesses, policymakers, and investors converge to shape Africa’s economic transformation.
Meanwhile, the summit itself will feature:
* High-level dialogues with heads of state, ministers, and CEOs
– B2B and B2G matchmaking sessions
* Sector-specific forums in energy, logistics, mining, and more
* An exhibition showcasing African goods and services
* The Africa Trade Awards Gala
