Asanteman Mourns: Provision Made For Medical Emergencies

The Manhyia Palace has made provision for medical emergencies as it marks the One-Week of the demise of Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the Queen of the Asante Kingdom.
Medical officers are ready on site with the needed medical set-up to offer immediate assistance during unexpected medical emergencies.
Working alongside these mobile officers are personnel from the ambulance service, Red Cross and other essential medical outfits.
This will give room for quick and effective response in the event of a medical emergency, not only to save lives but also to enhance the overall experience and best practices.
This is one of the many provisions, demonstrating the Manhyia Palace’s commitment to attendees’ safety and well-being.
It is recalled that the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate announced plans to provide medical assistance to mourners during gatherings to mourn the passing of the Queen.
The Queen passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025; however, it was formally announced on August 11, 2025.
