KATH Doctors Lodge Goes Under Paintbrush After 20 Years 

Neuce Paints Company Limited has fulfilled its portion of a partnership agreement with the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in painting the 146-flat residential lodge of doctors.

The lodge is being painted for the first time in 20 years.

The paints company has donated 174 buckets of high-quality paints needed for the blocks following a special appeal by the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Prof Otchere Addai-Mensah.

Meanwhile, the cost of labour and scaffolds for the application of the paints will be borne by the hospital.

In all, the residential lodge has nine blocks. It is reported that the first phase of the project which will be completed in the next two to three months covers eight blocks with the completion of the biggest block popularly called the “blue block” in 2024.

The painting is part of a special project initiated by Prof Addai-Mensah.
