Jirapa Dubai CEO Murder: 2 More Suspects Arrested

The number of suspects in the murder of Mr Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the 4-star luxury safari resort Cossy Hill Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region now stands at seven after two additional suspects were nabbed.

The two joined the earlier suspects in their fold in police cells last night after their late arrest, the police said.

“The Ghana Police Service, last night, 11th February 2024, arrested two (2) additional suspects in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Mr Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel at Jirapa in the Upper West Region,” a statement released on Monday, updated the public.

They have been identified as Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, all workers at the Cossy Hill Hotel.

The seven suspects include two ladies and five men.

Mr Johnson was found dead in a pool of blood on Sunday, February 11 in one of his hotel rooms, according to the police.

Investigations led to the arrest of Kumbata Kwaku, a worker before four more persons, all being the deceased’s workers, were arrested the same day.

They were identified as Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix and Michael Klugey.

The Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare, has deployed a team of investigators and experts led by the Director-General/CID to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command to ensure a thorough investigation into the incident.
