How Asantehene’s Day 2 in Poland Looked

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, carried out a series of activities to mark his second day in Poland.
His Majesty’s day featured tours of cultural sites and ended with a golf event on May 28, 2026.
Phenomenaa Gallery
Otumfuo first visited the Phenomenaa Gallery, a contemporary art space founded by Omenaa Mensah, a Ghanaian-Polish entrepreneur and philanthropist.
The gallery showcases contemporary art from Sub-Saharan Africa and the African diaspora, and aims to build bridges between Africa and Europe by promoting African culture and art.
It features a dynamic blend of bold paintings and intricate sculptures by artists from various African nations.
On an exclusive private tour, His Majesty was taken through a collection of remarkable artworks and artefacts generously donated by various creators for auction at this year’s Top Charity Gala 2026.
Orangery at Wilanów Palace
His Majesty also toured the Orangery, a historic 18th-century glasshouse in Wilanów Palace gardens.
It was built to grow citrus trees for King Jan III Sobieski, one of Poland’s most famous kings and military heroes.
There, Otumfuo was warmly welcomed by Omenaa Mensah, Founder of the Top Charity Gala, and Natalia Bradbury.
Golf Game
From there, the King, accompanied by business mogul Rafał Brzoska, travelled to Katowice in southern Poland for a golf game with 10 selected participants at the Rosa Golf Club.
The participants included business executives and philanthropists from Poland.
His Majesty teed off to kickstart the event, which featured two categories: the Higher Handicap Group and the Lower Handicap Category.
At the end of the games, the Asantehene presented trophies to the winners of both categories as well as the outstanding golfer of the day.
Otumfuo was, in turn, honoured with a symbolic corner flag.
Introductions
Time was also taken to introduce the participating philanthropists and entrepreneurs to Otumfuo.
They included players in blockchain, tech, vending, fashion, defence, construction, and other sectors.
