Hospital Administrator Confirms Missing-But-Found Woman’s Visit

Rev. Osei Boateng, Administrator at the Takoradi hospital also known as European Hospital, where Josephine Panyin Mensah visited during ‘pregnancy’ has confirmed her attendance to the hospital.
He also indicated that records show she visited the hospital more than once with the first visit in September 2020.
Rev. Boateng, however, did not give out details about her visit with the caution that they had been contacted by their “superiors” to be economical with information they disseminate due to the national interest the case carries. (https://ausoma.org)
“Checks indicated that the lady had visited the hospital twice or thrice but we can’t disclose the details of the purpose for which she came there and the condition for reason she was seen by a doctor”, he said on Eyewitness News.
He noted that it won’t be difficult figuring out the truth due to the availability of specialists.
29-year-old Josephine Panyin Mensah was reported to have gone ‘missing’ on Thursday, September 16, 2021 when she went on her usual dawn walk and never returned home.
Media reports say the woman was said to be 9 months pregnant at the time of her departure from the city.

She surfaced at Axim on September 21, 2021, without her belly nor her baby and has been admitted at the Axim Government hospital where she is responding to treatment.
The Western Regional Minister, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah disclosed that preliminary investigation by the state security showed the woman was never pregnant, neither was she kidnapped.
Her husband, Mr. Michael Simmons, in a separate interview with Citi news insisted his wife was pregnant and called on the Regional Minister to retract his statement.
