Fidelity Bank Rewards Customer with GHS 10,000 for Returning GHS 4,000 Found at ATM
Fidelity Bank has rewarded Emmanuel Appiah Boateng with GHS 10,000 for an act of honesty after he returned money he found at one of the bank’s ATMs.
Boateng discovered GHS 4,000 left at an ATM and immediately contacted Fidelity Bank’s Customer Contact Centre.
His prompt action ensured the cash was returned to its rightful owner.
The bank said his conduct came at a time when discussions about integrity are frequent, but his actions offered a practical example of its value.
“We congratulate Mr Boateng and celebrate the character and honesty he has demonstrated,” Fidelity Bank stated.
The GHS 10,000 reward was presented in recognition of his integrity and to encourage similar values among the public.
